Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport (IATA: BPN, ICAO: WALL), also known as Sepinggan Airport, is an airport that serves flights to the city of Balikpapan, East Kalimantan and is projected to be the main gateway to the new national capital. [ 1] The airport is operated by PT. Angkasa Pura I and opened on 6 August 1997.

This airport has an area of ​​300 hectares and is the 4th largest airport of 13 airports managed by PT. Angkasa Pura I. Development plans on the available land around the airport continue to be implemented, including transit hotel meeting rooms, restaurants and mini markets.

Bandar Udara APT Pranoto

Aji Pangeran Tumenggung Pranoto International Airport (IATA: SRI, ICAO: WALS), is an airport in the city of Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The airport, which is located in the Siring River region, operates on May 24, 2018 and was inaugurated by East Kalimantan Governor Awang Faroek Ishak [1] replacing the previous airport, namely Temindung Airport which could no longer be developed. [2] The name of the airport is taken from the first Governor of East Kalimantan, APT Pranoto.

Although there is no written evidence and acknowledgment that the airport is international, but verbally there has been an agreement between East Kalimantan Governor Awang Faroek Ishak and the Ministry of Transportation regarding the status of this airport as an international airport. [3]
